Strain Review: Early Lemon Berry R1 by ETHOS Genetics

Grow Review: Early Lemon Berry R1 by ETHOS Genetics

This lady was grown in a 32 oz cup in coco/perlite with General Hydroponics Flora Trio along with CALiMAGic and a couple other supplements. Under the Mars Hydro TS 1000 in a 2×2.. Also important to note that she was grown 12/12 from seed due to some already flowering ladies and my impatience to grow my first ETHOS strain lol. Topped at 3rd node and removed first node, leaving 2 nodes. I believe the topping helped prolong the veg stage by at least 2 weeks.. Not sure the science behind it, just something I’ve noticed with this grow and a few autoflowers.. Anyhoo.. Lol

How Much Does Early Lemon Berry R1 Stretch?

She did not stretch very much. A little.. But just enough to fit some massive colas on the branches.. Which is perfectly fine with me. This grow was more focused on quality than quantity.

Harvesting Early Lemon Berry R1

I harvested when the plant was showing some amber trichomes just toward the very tops of the colas.. Mostly milky/cloudy tho.

Drying, Trimming and Curing Early Lemon Berry R1

Chopped by branches, trimmed fan leaves off immediately and also any sugal leaves that I could reach stems on. I do not light to cut any leaves themselves before the bud being dried. Just me lol.. Dried in a cardboard box with a computer fan at the top and a couple of holes at the bottom for SLIGHT airflow and a little hygrometer in the box as well.. Also dried the trim in the bottom of the box to make bubble hash with later (f*cking delicious btw).. About 7 days and she was ready for jars. After 24 hours in jars, RH was 68%.. Perfect.. Burped couple times a day for 1 week, now down to 65% RH.. Burped once a day, quickly, just to get a nice wiff for another week.. Week 3, down to 62% RH and left alone as much as possible (was not left alone for more than 2 days.. Needed more wiffs of her citrusy goodness lol).. After 4 weeks, she was ready to be consumed!

The Flavor and Smell of Early Lemon Berry R1

Smell was AMAZING! Super citrusy! A little skunky, but mostly resembled a golfball of citrus! Taste was just as great! Some earthy pine.. But just lemon, orange and manderin is all I can smell and taste.. Very strong scent and taste. Carbon filter FOR SURE

The Effects and Uses of Early Lemon Berry R1

Uplifting, hyper, even paranoid at times

My Overall Impressions of Early Lemon Berry R1 by ETHOS Genetics

This was a very interesting strain to grow. Very gorgeous purples during the flush, super strong scents of lemons and oranges.. I love that I still have 8 more of these seeds. Will definately love to fill my 2×4 with more of these nugs! ETHOS always pulls through on the trichomes also.. I really wanna try their OG Kush autoflower and see what they are capable of with those as well!
