This tour was really amazing, we learned so much! It was also a small group which made it feel more personal. My husband and I had and amazing time. We definitely recommend this tour.

Amazing experience! You learn about the history of cafe, the process and work that goes into the care of coffee. as well as how Colombian coffee is different from other countries! You get to visit an actual coffee plantation and then you are brought to a different location to learn about the different roasting and brewing process. Everyone is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We used an interpreter and their English was easy to understand. There was also plenty of time to ask questions and weren’t rushed at all. Highly recommend!!

My favorite experience from my trip to Colombia. One great thing to note is the farm you visit is very close to Medellin which means less time in the car and more time enjoying your experience.

I enjoyed learning about the harvesting of coffee and the process of roasting. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and thorough.

It was a complete tour , very much information in excellent english, very profound knowledge and interesting facts were shared.

It was great to tour a coffee farm so close to Medellin. Our guides (Pablo and Mateo) we’re excellent. They were friendly and super knowledgeable. The visit to the roastery was fantastic. We learned about bean selection and roasting details and then were treated to 4 differently prepared samples. All in all a great tour. Be aware to wear good shoes to the farm. Also be aware that free hotel pickup is limited. We were in northern Medellin and took the metro south where we got picked up at a metro station.

Went above and beyond. Very knowledgeable. Answered all our questions, showed us the whole coffee process. The best part was when we went to Urbania (a coffee shop) and saw the roasting first hand, then sampled coffees we had just seen freshly roasted. They explained all the science behind grinds, pours, and how to “extract” different flavor profiles from your coffee. They even walk you through what to look for on labels when you buy coffee. I had no idea how complicated coffee could be. The tour will change the way you view, and order, coffee forever. Highly recommend!

Amazing information. Beautiful scenery. Delicious coffee.Tour guides were great.A memorable tour Definitely do this tour again with friends.Weather was awesome

Excellent tour! From hotel pickup to drop off and everything in between! Highly recommend for everybody to learn more about coffee. The views are stunning!!

Unique and educational day trip, this tour definitely met all expectations! After the tour I feel my knowledge of coffee is much more than just a daily routine…and I also understood why the coffee throughout Colombia which we were drinking was not the delicious coffee we were both expecting. Although my Spanish is severely lacking, the translator did a great job and the passion from Pablo about coffee was infectious, if your looking for a great tour don’t hesitate to book!

Very knowledgeable guides. Nice small family owned coffee farm. Learned a lot about coffee. Close enough to hotel

So much fun! Was a private tour in a small SUV with both very knowledgeable guide and a translator, and we learned so much! We even had the coffee farm to ourselves to walk around. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a tour more intimate, with lots of attention, and where you learn a lot in a short amount of time.

If we only did this tour in our 2 days in Medellin, our trip would still be amazing. We got to learn how coffee research is carried out to how the farmers cultivate the land and use nature to help foster the coffee seed. This coffee seed then grows into a tree yielding coffee beans which then gets sent to the filtration system right before it gets transported to the lab for roasting and packaging. Yes. we got to see the entire coffee plantation as well as the coffee lab afterward! We are not much of coffee drinkers but we genuinely enjoyed learning about this entire process. It takes a lot of effort and care to make coffee and to us now, drinking a cup of coffee is a whole new experience. If you are traveling to Medellin, you must go on this tour. Our two tour guides, Juan Diego Alzate Serrano and Pablo Hincapié were gems. They answered all of our questions with patience and knew almost everything about coffee from its history to modern-day usage and more. We were really fortunate to get these two tour guides as they made our time during the tour unforgettable.

Such a wonderful experience, really convenient that it was so close to Medellin so we could fit it in with other activities. Our guides were the absolute best! Pablo Senior and Junior. Could not recommend them more. Thank you!

Enjoyable father-son tour, close to the city and a real eye-opening experience. I will definitely be more selective in how I choose my coffee in the future. The guides left a great impressIon and provided valuable information on the ways to identify quality coffee and identified the process of coffee making from planting the tree to roasting the beans. I would take friends on this tour in the future.

Very cool and authentic experience. Learned so much from Juan and his father. 10/10 would recommend. From coffee farm, to coffee roasting to coffee tasting, it was a full experience!

very informative and thorough tour. We have learned a lot and enjoyed nice views of the farm. Definitely recommend for everyone.

The tour was informative and fun . I Recommend it to everyone The farm has an amazing view on the city

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Our party of two was joined by another party of two, which made for an intimate, personal experience where all of our questions were answered and we really got to know our guide and translator. Both the guide and translator were friendly, animated, and knowledgeable, and made us laugh and have a good time as we learned. We were picked up right on time from our hotel and whisked off on a short drive to the farm. The drive was beautiful, and we were able to get set up with a history of Medellin and the history of coffee. On, the farm, we were able to see each step of the planting, the growth, the variation in beans, the different ways they were dried and vetted for quality. We were able to taste the coffee made from that farm and then we made our way to El Laboratorio to learn about the roasting process and the proper way to brew, taste, and judge coffee. After this tour, it’s easy to see why Colombian coffee is so standout and delicious! Could not recommend more highly.

Had such a fun time on this coffee tour! Very informative and educational. Not only do you get to tour the farm and learn about cultivation, but you also get to visit a lab to learn about the roasting process. The farm itself is only ~30 minutes outside Medellin so the travel time is very easy. Everybody is so nice and just wants you to have fun and learn something new. This is the best coffee tour for those who might not have the time to travel very far / those who would like to learn about roasting as well as the farming aspects of coffee cultivation. Oh, and the coffee is delicious!
